Rules

  1. Tap the stage or press Space to make the bird flap upward.
  2. Let the bird fall through the opening between each pair of pipes.
  3. Passing a pipe earns one point.
  4. Touching a pipe, the ceiling, or the ground ends the round.
  5. After a round ends, choose Try again or press Space to start a fresh run.

Controls

Click or tap the game stage, or use Space. Enter starts or retries a round. The game runs entirely in your browser and does not require an account.

A brief history

Flappy Bird was created by Vietnamese developer Dong Nguyen and released for mobile in 2013. Its deliberately simple one-button control, narrow gaps, and high difficulty made it a widely shared score-chasing game. This version is an original local implementation for Instruo, with no external score service.

The game is generated and played locally. Your best score is stored only in this browser; Instruo does not upload scores or require an account.
